On Sunday 29th June 2025, Prof Dr Hassan Mohiuddin Qadri attended the third annual graduation ceremony organised by al-Minhaj Institute London, celebrating the achievements of students across a range of Islamic and Arabic programmes.

This year’s ceremony saw the graduation of 16 students from the Diploma in Islamic Studies and Arabic. In addition, 2 students successfully completed their memorisation of the Holy Qur’an (Hifdh).

The event also recognised 42 students who graduated from the Foundation to Diploma programme, a new initiative introduced to bridge the gap to the full-fledged Diploma Programme. Furthermore, the ceremony acknowledged 27 students from the Arabic Programme, spanning different levels, including Level 1 Under-16, Level 1–2, and Level 1–3.

The ceremony commenced with a Tilawat followed by Nasheed, setting a spiritual tone for the proceedings. This was followed by a series of award and certificate presentations for the Hifdh graduates, Arabic Programme students, Foundation to Diploma graduates, and concluding with the presentation to the Diploma graduates.

The event was held under the leadership of the Principal, Shaykh Muhammad Zeeshan Qadri. Members of the core team supporting the Institute’s work include Allama Abdul Rasool, Zarvesha Rasool, Saad Farooq, and Hassan Raza.

A number of distinguished guests were also in attendance, including Syed Ali Abbas Bukhari (President, Minhaj-ul-Quran UK), Shahid Iqbal (President, Minhaj-ul-Quran Greater London), and Zulfiqar Ali (Deputy Mayor, Newham Council).

The keynote address was delivered by Prof Dr Hassan Mohiuddin Qadri, who offered a heartfelt discourse on the interrelationship of Ahl al-Bayt and knowledge. In his address, he highlighted the virtues of the noble Ahl al-Bayt and the profound impact their spiritual blessings have had on the legacy of Islamic scholarship and piety.

Earlier in the day, the Institute also hosted a celebratory programme for its younger students from Minhaj Evening School and Bayt-ul-Hikmah Sunday School.
