Danish translation of Irfan-ul-Quran completed

The translation of Irfan-ul-Quran in the Danish language, the Quranic translation by Shaykh-ul-Islam Dr Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri, has been completed. A beautiful ceremony was held in Oslo to celebrate the completion of the translation. Shaykh-ul-Islam Dr Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri was the chief guest on the occasion, whereas Chairman MQI Supreme Council Dr Hassan Mohi-ud-Din Qadri, President MQI Dr Hussain Mohi-ud-Din Qadri, Shaykh Hammad Mustafa Al-Madani Al-Qadri, Shaykh Ahmad Mustafa Al-Arabi Al-Qadri and the office-bearers of MQI Europe were also in attendance.

Shaykh-ul-Islam Dr Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri congratulated Allama Sayyid Mahmood Shah Al-Azhari (member Supreme Council) on completing the Danish translation of the Holy Quran. He prayed to Allah Almighty to accept this great service of conveying the teachings of the Holy Quran, a precious treasure of wisdom and knowledge, to every nook and corner of the world. He also announced a gold medal for the translator in recognition of his invaluable service. He said that Sayyid Mahmood Shah Al-Azhar is a sincere, loyal and committed leader of MQI. He said that he personally supervised the translation right from the start of the project to its completion. Shaykh-ul-Islam presented a copy of the translation with his signature to Sayyid Mahmood Shah Al-Azhari.

In his speech, Sayyid Mahmood Shah Al-Azhari expressed his gratitude to Allah Almighty and the Holy Prophet (PBUH) for choosing and enabling him to render the service of translation. He said that it is due to the guidance of Shaykh-ul-Islam that he was able to deliver on the project. He said that Irfan-ul-Quran has been translated in different languages of the world, adding that the translation in Danish language is not less than a blessing for the people who speak and understand this language. He said that he has handed over all the intellectual property rights to the MQI Denmark chapter. He said that an effort will be made to deliver the copy of the translation to every household in Denmark.

Dr Muhammad Nadeem Asim, lecturer at Minhaj School of Islamic Sciences, completed the translation in the Danish language. He worked hard day in and day out to translate the Holy Quran, an effort that took him years. In recognition of his service, Shaykh-ul-Islam Dr Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri gave him a shield and signed copy of the translation.

Hamza Yousaf and Hassan Yousaf undertook proofreading of the translation. Shaykh-ul-Islam also appreciated their contribution. Dr Hassan Mohi-ud-Din Qadri and Dr Hussain Mohi-ud-Din Qadri also congratulated Sayyid Mahmood Shah Al-Azhari and the entire team for performing this great work.
