The three-day Al-Hidayah Training Camp 2025, organized by Minhaj-ul-Quran International, concluded at Warwick University in London, UK. Over 1,300 Muslim families from the UK, Europe, USA, Canada, Pakistan, and other countries participated in the camp.
In the concluding session, Shaykh-ul-Islam Dr. Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri addressed the attendees and urged youth to develop a close relationship with books. He emphasized that morally upright and educated youth are the secure future of the Ummah. He stated that today's youth must safeguard their faith while also focusing on acquiring modern knowledge. He added that Minhaj-ul-Quran is guiding young people on the path of knowledge and peace.
Lectures at the Al-Hidayah camp were also delivered by Professor Dr. Hassan Mohi-ud-Din Qadri, Chairman of Minhaj-ul-Quran International’s Supreme Council, Shaykh Hammad Mustafa al-Madani al-Qadri, young religious scholar, and Dr. Ghazala Qadri, President of Minhaj-ul-Quran Women League International.
Dr. Tahir-ul-Qadri also held a special Q&A session with youth living in Western countries.
Prof. Dr. Hassan Mohi-ud-Din Qadri, in his closing remarks, reiterated that MQI is guiding youth toward knowledge and peace. He said Shaykh-ul-Islam was a powerful voice of the time in promoting interfaith harmony and eradicating sectarianism.
Dr. Ghazala Qadri, addressing the women's training session on the topic of “Stages of Spiritual Development”, spoke about repentance, piety, self-accountability, and patience. She advised the participating women that good character brings dignity to a person. “Avoid unnecessary criticism of others—it weakens relationships,” she said. “True repentance is that which leads a person to never repeat their sins. Harsh words hurt both the body and the soul. Always think before you speak.”
Shaykh Hammad Mustafa al-Madani al-Qadri, in his session with the youth on the topic of “Al-Futuwwa” (Chivalry), said that real sacrifice, courage, and bravery lie in ensuring that others' dignity is never harmed. He stated that religion is not limited to rituals or worship alone, but is a complete social and community system. “Prayers and fasting will be of no use to those who deprive or oppress orphans,” he said. “The Holy Prophet ﷺ said that a believer’s life should be spent in service to others."
