Paris – The Founder and Patron-in-Chief of Minhaj-ul-Quran International, His Eminence Shaykh-ul-Islam Dr. Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri, visited the headquarters of Minhaj-ul-Quran International France. He was accompanied by Prof. Dr. Hassan Mohiuddin Qadri, Chairman of the Supreme Council; Dr. Ghazala Qadri, President of Minhaj-ul-Quran Women League International; and Shaykh Ahmad Mustafa al-Arabi al-Qadri.

Addressing the members and associates, Shaykh-ul-Islam emphasized that the essence of the entire religion lies in noble character. He said: “Allah Almighty has attributed forbearance to Himself, as He is the Most Forgiving and Forbearing. Allah has also taught His servant to adopt the quality of forgiveness. True moral excellence means adopting the attributes of Allah. The one who embodies these divine attributes and becomes the personification of sublime character is none other than the Holy Prophet Muhammad ﷺ.”

He further stated that the Prophet ﷺ desires to see his followers soft-natured and dignified. For a preacher of religion, dignity is essential. He should live gracefully, wear clean and beautiful attire, and reflect elegance. “The Prophet ﷺ was so pure and refined that the fragrance in the air would testify to his passing by. He ﷺ said: ‘Gentleness beautifies everything it enters, and its absence makes things ugly.’ The rank of a forbearing servant is equal to one who stands in prayer all night and fasts throughout his life,” he added.

During the visit, Shaykh-ul-Islam, along with the distinguished guests, inaugurated the newly renovated Education Centre and Darood Hall at the MQI France headquarters. He also announced Gold Medals for the entire Executive Council of MQI France in recognition of their devoted services. Furthermore, he conferred the Tamgha-e-Istiqamat (Medal of Steadfastness), upon Raja Babar Hussain, President of MQI France, for his outstanding organizational and social contributions.
