By the Grace of Almighty Allah (SWT) and his Beloved Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), Minhaj Sisters League (The Hague, Netherlands) organized its annual Milaad Celebration, which was especially arranged for the youth sisters.
The theme of this Milaad Celebration was ‘Huzoor (peace and blessings be upon him) se zinda taluq’. Also an introduction of Shaykh ul Islam’s book series ‘Sirat-ur-Rasul (peace and blessings be upon him)’ was part of the program.
The session took place on the 2nd of January. Approximately 90 sisters attended this Milaad session and took benefit from the informative and spiritually uplifting speeches of our honourable speaker, Mrs. Sumaira Faisal (President Minhaj Women & Sisters League Europe).
Sister Tabinda Mahmood welcomed everyone and thanked the audience for participating in this program. The program started with recitation of Surah Rehman. After the Quran Recitation the beautiful Nasheed ‘Tala al Badru Alayna’ was recited by Bisma Ahmed, Aisha Ahmed, Amna Ahmed and Ramsha Ahmed.
Then Sister Anny Malik gave a presentation about the activities of Minhaj Sisters League The Hague of the previous year. She also shared the upcoming events and activities with the audience. After this a beautiful Naat was recited by Sister Bushra Sayed.
After that, Mrs. Sumaira Faisal delivered an inspirational lecture on ‘the importance of having a strong bond with Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him)’. The second part of her lecture was a beautiful introduction of Shaykh ul Islam’s book series ‘Sirat-ur-Rasul’. Minhaj Sisters League The Hague will soon organize a course to study this book series, which is the largest biography of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) written in Urdu language.
The session was concluded with a Naat by sisters Afifa and Komel Maqbool, Salaam and Dua. At the end of the program everyone had dinner and a cake was cut and distributed in honour of the Mawlid of our Beloved Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him).
