Oslo, Norway: Shaykh Hammad Mustafa al-Madani al-Qadri was warmly received by members of Minhaj-ul-Quran International Norway at the Minhaj-ul-Quran Islamic Centre, Oslo.
The visit marked an important milestone with the introduction of a new onboarding and development programme, aimed at strengthening training, organisational growth, and capacity-building within MQI Norway.
In a refreshing change of format, the session was conducted as an interactive interview rather than a traditional lecture. Shaykh Hammad Mustafa Qadri emphasised the importance of teamwork, shared vision, and collective responsibility, stating that true progress is achieved through unity and working towards a common mission.
He also shared insightful reflections on parenting and responsibility, inspired by the teachings and life of his grandfather, Shaykh-ul-Islam Dr. Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri. He highlighted compassion, presence, and leading by example as core principles of nurturing strong character.
Addressing contemporary challenges, he cautioned against placing excessive pressure on children regarding education, careers, and marriage, reminding parents to connect with the hearts of their children rather than attempting to control their choices. He noted that children follow actions more than words.
Recalling personal childhood memories, Shaykh Hammad Mustafa Qadri explained how faith, prayer, and modesty were instilled naturally through love, imagination, and consistent positive example.
Responding to a question about the future, he expressed his commitment to continue serving the Deen and contributing wherever guided by Shaykh-ul-Islam Dr. Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri, including potential roles linked with Minhaj University Lahore.
The session concluded with a powerful reminder that excellence must define every effort, and that work for Deen, dawah, and service to humanity should always take precedence over worldly pursuits.
