The Annual Ghaus-ul-Azam (RA) Conference 2025, organized under the auspices of Minhaj-ul-Quran International (MQI) Canada and Bazm-e-Ghausia Canada, was held on October 4th, 2025, at Jamia Al-Mustafa, Mississauga Muslim Community Centre, Canada.

The grand spiritual gathering brought together a large audience of devotees, scholars, and community members to celebrate and reflect upon the life, legacy, and teachings of Sultan-ul-Awliya, Shaykh Abdul Qadir Jilani (RA).

The evening commenced with a heart-touching recitation of the Holy Qur’an by Qari Abdul Majid Noor, followed by soulful nasheed performances by Minhaj al-Munshideen, which filled the venue with spiritual warmth and remembrance of Allah Almighty and His Beloved Prophet ﷺ.

The highlight of the evening was the keynote lecture delivered by Shaykh-ul-Islam Dr. Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri on the theme:

“The Path of Spirituality and Sufism in the Light of the Life of Shaykh Abdul Qadir Jilani (RA).”

In his profound address, Shaykh-ul-Islam explained that true Sufism is not a set of rituals or mere traditions, but a comprehensive discipline of spiritual purification, divine knowledge, and love. He emphasized that Shaykh Abdul Qadir Jilani (RA) perfectly embodied the balance between Shari‘ah (Sacred Law) and Tariqah (Spiritual Path) — representing the union of outward piety and inward enlightenment.

He further stated that the revival of the Muslim Ummah lies in rekindling the same spiritual consciousness, moral discipline, and divine connection that defined the life of Ghaus-ul-Azam (RA). Believers were urged to embrace sincerity, humility, remembrance (Dhikr), and compassion, for the journey to Allah Almighty begins with self-purification and obedience to the Qur’an and Sunnah.

Through inspiring examples and deep insights, Shaykh-ul-Islam reminded that Ghaus-ul-Azam (RA) dedicated his entire life to guiding seekers on the path of divine love and knowledge — a legacy that continues to illuminate hearts across centuries.

The conference’s successful organization reflected the tireless dedication of Hashim Ali Qadri, Head of Bazm-e-Ghausia Canada, and his devoted team, who ensured every aspect of the event ran seamlessly.

The gathering was graced by numerous community members and senior representatives of Minhaj-ul-Quran International (MQI) Canada and abroad, including Shaykh Ahmad Mustafa Al-Arabi, Haji Abdul Ghafoor, Ali Ahmad Khan, Abdul Wasiq (MQI Australia), and several dignitaries and scholars.

The Annual Ghaus-ul-Azam (RA) Conference 2025 proved to be a deeply spiritual and intellectually enriching event, reviving the timeless message of love, service, and purification of the heart taught by Shaykh Abdul Qadir Jilani (RA).
