The Minhaj-ul-Quran Workers Convention took place in Malmö, bringing together dedicated members and volunteers to discuss the organization’s ongoing efforts and future initiatives. The event focused on strengthening community engagement, promoting educational and welfare projects, and reinforcing the mission of Minhaj-ul-Quran.
A key highlight of the convention was the address by Dr. Hassan Mohiuddin, who spoke about respect and ethics for children and families, drawing guidance from the Qur’an and Sunnah. He emphasized the teachings of the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) and the scholarly insights of Sheikh-ul-Islam Dr. Tahir-ul-Qadri, highlighting the importance of moral values, kindness, and responsibility in family life.
Dr. Hassan Mohiuddin particularly stressed the responsibility of parents towards their children, explaining that Islam places great importance on their upbringing, education, and moral guidance. Parents are not only responsible for providing food, shelter, and education but also for nurturing their children’s spiritual and ethical development. He reminded the audience that children are an Amanah (trust) from Allah, and it is the duty of parents to raise them with love, wisdom, and discipline.
Quoting from the Qur’an and Hadith, he emphasized that parents must lead by example, demonstrating honesty, patience, and compassion in their daily lives. He also encouraged families to create a positive home environment where children feel valued, respected, and connected to their faith. Teaching good manners, instilling respect for elders, and encouraging a love for knowledge and service to humanity are essential aspects of a child’s upbringing.
On this occasion, Dr. Hassan Mohiuddin also presented shields of recognition to the committed volunteers for their unwavering contributions towards the mission of peace, knowledge, and spiritual enlightenment.
The convention also included discussions on teamwork, spiritual development, and social responsibility. Participants shared their experiences, discussed challenges, and explored strategies to enhance their contributions. The event served as a platform to appreciate the dedication of volunteers who play a crucial role in advancing the organization’s objectives.
The gathering concluded with a renewed commitment to spreading knowledge, peace, and humanitarian service, reflecting Minhaj-ul-Quran’s core values.
