Prof. Dr. Hussain Mohi-ud-Din Qadri, Senior Fellow at Melbourne University Australia, Deputy Chairman of the Board of Governors at Minhaj University Lahore, and President of Minhaj-ul-Quran International, delivered a keynote lecture at Sejong University, Seoul, South Korea. The lecture, titled "Muslim Relations with the Religious Other and the Contributions of Minhaj-ul-Quran International Towards Interfaith Harmony," highlighted the significant role of interfaith dialogue in promoting global peace and unity.
During the lecture, Dr. Hussain Qadri emphasized the common divine origins shared by major religions, citing the Torah, Gospel, and Quran as examples. He discussed the importance of shared religious paths and prophetic continuity as outlined in the Quran, particularly in Surah Ash-Shura. Dr. Hussain Qadri also stressed the need for a multifaceted approach to interfaith relations, which includes understanding each group's unique perspective, examining the influence of religious teachings on interactions, and considering the historical context.
