Shaykh-ul-Islam Dr. Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri announced the establishment of the "Milli Majlis-e-Seerat Hong Kong" during a grand Seerat-un-Nabi (PBUH) conference in Hong Kong to promote the thought of unity among the Muslim Ummah. He urged the Muslim community to end sectarianism for the revival of Islam. He emphasized that Muslims living in Hong Kong should celebrate religious rituals and events collectively, thereby sending a message of unity and solidarity to the entire Ummah and becoming a practical example of the Prophetic teachings.

Shaykh-ul-Islam stated that scholars and representatives of all schools of thought, including Minhaj-ul-Quran, will be part of the Executive Council of this Milli Majlis-e-Seerat to make decisions unanimously. He further stated that this Council will organize a "Milli Seerat-un-Nabi (PBUH) Conference" this year in connection with the celebration of Eid Milad-un-Nabi (PBUH), bringing together the Muslim community in Hong Kong. The Council, he said, will arrange conferences in the Kowloon Mosque and other mosques during the month of Rabi-ul-Awwal.

Dr. Tahir-ul-Qadri emphasized that the love of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) is a shared asset of all Muslims, and it is on this basis that unity and solidarity should be promoted to avoid the mischief of discord and division. He highlighted that to be a good Muslim, one must first be a good human being. A good human does not lie, speak indecently, act dishonestly, or usurp the rights of others. The duties of a Muslim go far beyond these principles. The Holy Prophet (PBUH) provided 14 teachings through his Seerat (biography), and any society that embodies these 14 qualities will be peaceful and prosperous.

He mentioned the Holy Prophet's (PBUH) teachings, such as always speaking the truth, not betraying trust, doing good to others, treating neighbors well, maintaining relations with relatives, avoiding forbidden acts, abstaining from murder and indecency, not consuming the property of orphans, not slandering women, believing in the oneness of Allah, establishing prayer, giving Zakat, and fasting. Dr. Tahir-ul-Qadri stressed that without the foundation of humanity, Islamic faith cannot stand.
