Dr Hassan Qadri Delivers Insightful Lecture on the Constitution of Medina

Dr. Hassan Mohi-ud-Din Qadri delivered a compelling lecture on "The Constitution and Systems of the State of Medina" at a Meet and Greet session organized by Minhaj-ul-Quran International Malaysia, held at the Premiera Hotel in Kuala Lumpur.

The event was attended by prominent figures including the President of Minhaj-ul-Quran International, Prof. Dr. Hussain Mohi-ud-Din Qadri, Mrs. Fizzah Hussain Qadri, and Shaykh Ahmad Mustafa al-Arabi al-Qadri.

Dr. Hassan Qadri also congratulated Minhaj-ul-Quran International Malaysia on the launch of two significant books by Shaykh-ul-Islam Dr. Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri: Fatwa on Terrorism and Suicide Bombing (Fatwa Tentang Terorisme Dan Bom Bunuh Diri) and A Real Sketch of the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) (Lakaran Sebenar Nabi Muhammad ﷺ).

Distinguished guests also included Datuk Dr. Nik Muhammad Zawawi bin Haji Salleh, Prof. Dr. Muhammad Amir, Deputy Rector of IIUM, Cikgu Azmi, President of MAPIM, Datu Nazir, President of Pak Malaysia Business Forum, and Dr. Anwar Shah Bali, President of The Future Research Bali, along with students, academics, and representatives from various sectors and universities across Malaysia.

In his thought-provoking lecture, Dr. Hassan Mohi-ud-Din Qadri, Chairman of the Supreme Council of Minhaj-ul-Quran International, offered profound insights into "The Constitution and Systems of the State of Medina." He emphasized that the Constitution of Medina is not only historically significant as the first written constitution but also exemplifies the highest constitutional qualities in its content. According to Dr. Qadri, modern constitutional standards and regulations reflect all the essential qualities found in the Constitution of Medina.

Dr. Hassan Qadri highlighted that he has authenticated the Constitution of Medina through 62 articles, drawing from 26 verses of the Holy Quran and 75 to 80 authentic Hadiths of the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH). He explained that upon arriving in Medina, the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) focused on resolving local disputes, improving administrative matters, and establishing a framework for a future state characterized by peace and cooperation among diverse groups.

The Constitution of Medina, Dr. Hassan Qadri stated, was a pivotal document aimed at achieving peace and mutual survival among different religious and cultural groups. It embodies universal and eternal values, ensuring comprehensive protection of human rights and setting principles of justice, equality, and freedom essential for the development of just and equitable societies. Dr. Hassan Qadri concluded that the Constitution of Medina remains a landmark document in human civilization, laying the foundation for future constitutional development.
