Her talk covered the crucial aspects of being part of a community (jammah) and working to promote good and discourage evil as an obligation for every Muslim, regardless of gender. This report presents the key highlights and insights from her impactful lecture.
Dr. Ghazala emphasized that being part of a community (jammah) and actively working to promote good and discourage evil is a fundamental obligation for every Muslim. This responsibility applies to both men and women, and it's an integral part of Islamic practice.
Dr. Ghazala highlighted the role of Minhaj ul Quran as one such community that diligently strives to connect people to Allah, the Prophet (peace be upon him), and the Quran. Simultaneously, Minhaj ul Quran endeavors to invite the Ummah (Muslim community) and all of humanity to a sense of unity, fostering brotherhood and harmony among diverse groups.
She said that after the era of Prophethood ended with the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) as the final prophet, Allah closed the doors of prophethood. However, the doors to goodness remain open. Divine guidance continues through Allah's chosen and blessed individuals, specifically the Siddiqeen (the truthful) and Saliheen (the righteous). Dr. Ghazala emphasized the importance of recognizing and following such individuals who carry on the mission of goodness.
Minhaj-ul-Quran is led by one such blessed individual, Shaykh-ul-Islam Dr. Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri, who is regarded as the Mujaddid for this century. The organization is fortunate to have his guidance and leadership, which focuses on inviting people to do good and discouraging them from evil.
