The Spain-based Pakistani community members, consisting of traders, educationists, IT experts, doctors, and local political leaders, arranged a reception in the honour of Dr Hassan Mohi-ud-Din Qadri, Chairman MQI Supreme Council. Senior MQI leaders and workers attended the reception.
Dr Hassan Mohi-ud-Din Qadri delivered a thought-provoking address on the state of Madina on the occasion. Afterwards, the Pakistani community members announced to get Dr Hassan Mohi-ud-Din Qadr's book on the state of Madina translated into Spanish language.
Speaking on the occasion, the representatives of the Pakistani community said that no such comprehensive and well-researched book has ever been written on the Islamic, welfare model of the state of Madina. They said that a deep and careful study of Dr Hassan Mohi-ud-Din Qadri's book is essential to understand the political, social, economic, administrative, welfare, and judicial model that was implemented in the state of Madina.
The speakers said that Pakistani community pays a rich tribute to Dr Hassan Mohi-ud-Din Qadri for writing such an amazing research work on an important topic of huge relevance. The participants of the reception asked Dr Hassan various questions and got information about the different aspects of the state of Madina such as its constitution, administration, and judicial system.
In his talk in the ceremony, Dr Hassan Mohi-ud-Din Qadri said that the state of Madina was a practical manifestation of social justice. He said that there is a need to to give maximum attention to the dispensation of justice and the protection of life, honour, and property of people in order to reimagine Pakistan on the model of the state of Madina. He further said that the state of Madina was also a role model so far as interfaith harmony and peace were concerned. "As an administrative and constitutional head of the state of Madina, the Holy Prophet (PBUH) presented the concept of political unity and separate nationhood," he added.
Those who expressed their views included Chaudhry Saqib Tahir (president Pak Federation Spain), Chaudhry Imtiaz Ahmad (Chairman Muslim League-Q), Prof Tahir Azeem (president overseas community, Spain), Chaudhry Amanat Ali (Chairman Palson), Zill-e-Hassan (president MQI Europe), Hasnaat Mustafa Hashmi, Syed Zulqarnain Shah, Raja Shafique Kayani, Dr Irfan Majeed, Tahir Rafi, Javed Mughal, and Raja Sajid Mahmood.
