MWL Accrington held a Hajj Workshop on the 18th July 2019 at Charter Hall Community Centre in Accrington. The workshop was an interactive session in which Bajee Qurat-al-ain-Mudassir (Minhaj University Alima) enlightened the congregation of the mental, physical and above spiritual commitment required to complete the blessed journey of Hajj.

Annoted diagrams and a professionally prepared presentation explained each step a believer will embark upon before and during the pilgrimage and practical steps to ensure spirituality remains intact afterwards. MWL president Bajee Yasmin Shabbir, Bajee Rifat Saeed (UK Durood Coordinator) amongst other devoted MWL Accrington members organised the workshop which was well attended with approximately 40 ladies attending. The workshop was an overall success with excellent feedback given by the congregation having learned vital information.
