Miraj un Nabi Conference in Rotterdam

MWL/MSL The Netherlands: Minhaj-ul-Quran Rotterdam organized a special event for women and sisters to celebrate the blessed night journey of ascension, Al ‘Isra wal Mìrāj un Nabi ﷺ

In the blessed month of Rajab the female organizers held a special event on the 30th of march for all women and sisters on the holy occasion of Al ‘Isra wal Mìrāj un Nabi ﷺ. Approximately 100 women attended this program to benefit from the sohbah and knowledge that was shared by our special guest, Mrs. Fizzah Hussain Qadri from Pakistan. We were honoured to have the company of the daughter-in-law of Shaykh ul Islam Dr Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri in this blessed occasion.

The program commenced with the recitation of the first verses from Surah Al-Najm by our dear aunty, Mrs. Aisha Nazir Qadri. After a Hamd Shareef the the Qasidah Burda Shareef was presented by a group of young girls, which are also pupils of Minhaj Weekendschool Rotterdam. There were some dear aunty’s who presented beautiful Nasheeds related to the holy night journey. Sisters of MSL The Hague also attended this event and presented an astonishing Naat Shareef with duff.

Our special speaker Mrs. Fizzah Hussain Qadri begun her speech by the introduction of the most unique gift Shaykh ul Islam gave to the Ummah, the Quranic Encyclopaedia. She advised to not only purchase it but actual use it in our houses and organize workshops to restore and reinforce our connection with the Holy Qurān. Mrs. Fizzah Hussain Qadri then continued her speech about the first verse of Surah Al-‘Isrā which she recited at the start of her speech. She explained the context of the verse and enlighted about the living miracle which is also testified by the Holy Qurān. She said that nobody can truly understand the exalted glory of the Holy Prophet ﷺ like the unimaginable divine meeting between the Holy Prophet ﷺ and the Almighty Allah ﷻ.

She also spoke about the blessed gift ‘Salah’ (prayer) which was granted during the journey of ascension. She stated that we should keep the prayer close to our hearts and gave amazing examples how the prayer was respected and valued by wellknown persons of the Islamic history, who achieved their unique Mirāj through their manners of praying. She further compared a normal journey with the journey of the life to make it easier to understand. That the first thing in our ‘luggage’ which we’ll take with us should be the prayer, then good akhlāq (manners), humility, humbleness, respect for all and that all the good deeds should only be liwajhillah. The most important as zād-e-rah should be the immense love for the most beloved Prophet ﷺ and unlimited durood and salawāt. And that the nisbah with saliheen, special servants of Allah ﷻ will help us here. She reminded us here that we’re truly blessed with the company of Shaykh ul Islam in this time and that we’re benefiting from His Eminence through many ways. Fizzah baji ended her speech that if we firmly hold that nisbah, then we may achieve our aimed goals and eventually our Mirāj (through Minhaj-ul-Quran). And by keep doing our work for the Deen that it may show to which nisbah we’re connected. To receive these blessings through Minhaj-ul-Quran Fizzah baji also emphasized the importance of being a lifemember and how it will benefit in this dunya and the hereafter, InShā’Allah.

After the inspiring speech of Fizzah baji we continued with some Nasheeds. One dear sister presented a beautiful combination of some Nasheeds together in one, with the duff. The event got concluded with greetings and salutations upon the Holy Prophet ﷺ followed by a beautiful emotional Dua’.
