An event to introduce Minhaj Islamic syllabus for schools was held at Moin ul Uloom School on July 1 in Aurangabad, Maharashtra on 1st July. It was attended by scholars, representatives of various schools and educationists.
The event started with Qirat-e-Quran and Naat-e-Paak. There was a session on state of Muslim student's literacy rate, employment and reasons of high level of dropouts by Urooj. The next session was by Taher Shaikh, who introduced MQI and its various branches such as MQII, MIWF, and MYL etc. Then there was a session by Maulana Azhar, who explained the contents of syllabus in brief and how is it different from other religious books.
Next was a session on what Minhaj needs from teachers and what we are offering in return. We asked schools to give us a lecture weekly per class to teach this syllabus.
Teachers from various schools appreciated the syllabus content and requested to translate it into English and Roman Urdu so that more schools can benefit from it.
