On the 10th September 2017 a monthly program combined with Eid celebrations was held at the Minhaj Ul Quran Center by Alum Rock Birmingham Women League.
This program was hosted by Sister Shazia Parveen, MWL General Secretary of Alum Rock Birmingham, who invited young Aleeza to bless this program with the recitation from the holy Quran. The program was mainly for Naat shareef as it was an Eid celebration. Sister Hafsa Noor, Sister Saima, Sister Shaheen Akhter, Sister Shazia, Sister Amina Ishtiaq and Qasida Burda by Sister Sadia Ashraf had the honour of reciting Naat on the occasion.
Sister Rukhsana Iqbal, MWL Dawah Secretary of Alum Rock Birmingham, did tafseer (exegesis) from Surah Baqra from the Holy Quran followed by young girls group Pearls of Minhaj who performed Hajj Mubarak.
Sister Rukhsana Parveen, MWL Dawah and Tarbiyyah Secretary of Midlands Zone, spoke about the situation in Rohingya Burma, about how our Muslim brother and sisters are being slaughter and burnt alive. She spoke with tears in her eyes that we all need to condemn what is happening in Burma and help the our sisters and brother as much as we can as winter is approaching and every penny helps. A substantial amount was collected for charity to help the persecuted Muslims of Burma.
This program was concluded with ziker, dua, and salaam.
