South Africa: Shan-o-Adab-e-Mustafa (ﷺ) Conference’ under MQI

  • Respect for humanity essence of Islamic teachings: Dr Hassan Mohi-ud-Din Qadri

MQI (South Africa) arranged a prestigious a ‘Shan-o-Adab-e-Mustafa (ﷺ) Conference’ in a local hall of Bushbuckridge city of province of Mpumalanga on April 18. Chairman MQI Supreme Council Dr Hassan Mohi-ud-Din Qadri was the guest of honour on the occasion and delivered a keynote speech to the audience on the occasion.

The prominent people who attended the Conference included Allama Sadiq Qureshi, Allama Rafique Naqshbandi, Mirza Safdar Iqbal, Rana Asif Jamil, Javed Iqbal Awan, Raja Jawad Afzal, Allama Shahbaz Qadri, Allama Shabbir Alvi, Allama Qari Shaukat Ali Mustafai, Ulama & Mashaykh and the officer bearers of MQI Mpumalanga.

The proceedings of the Conference got underway with the recitation of the Holy Quran by Qari Muhammad Shabbir Alvi followed by Naat which Hafiz Ahmad Ali had the honour of reciting.

Addressing the audience, Dr Hassan Mohi-ud-Din Qadri said that it is not the human beings alone but the all creations in the world that pay their utmost respect and reverence for the person of the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him). He said that one does not deserve to be called a believer unless one loves the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) more than one’s parents, wife, children etc. He said that it is the special attribute of the Prophet of Islam (peace and blessings be upon him) that Allah Almighty Himself sends greetings and salutations on him.

Dr Hassan Mohi-ud-Din Qadri said that the essence of the teachings of our beloved Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) is that we should respect humanity without any discrimination. He said that without complying with the ‘Uswa-e-Hasana’, we cannot project the true face of Islam to the world. He said that the job of the MQI and Dr Tahir-ul-Qadri is to connect the Muslims with the Sira of the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), adding that herein lies the success not only in this but also in the other world.

Allama Sadiq Qureshi said in his speech that MQI is working the world over to promote Islamic message of peace, love and harmony. He said that respect for humanity is the main message of the MQI.

The concluding Dua was made by Qari Shaukat Ali Mustafavi. The people belonging to various walks of life joined MQI as life members on the occasion.

Earlier on, when Dr Hassan Mohi-ud-Din Qadri reached Mpumalanga from Johannesburg, he was given a red-carpet welcome. The office bearers of Executive Council received him. He thanked the MQI associates for their love.
