A Mehfil-e-Milad-un-Nabi (PBUH) was organized by sister Safeena at her residence in Leyton. Gathering started with the recitation of the Holy Quran by sisters attending the event followed by a beautiful Hamd recited by Sister Ijaz. Various sisters recited Naats. Sister Safeena, Asra and Rukhsana gave short speeches on the legality of Milad-un-Nabi under the light of the Hadith. Sister Asra recited a beautiful Naat.

Sister Rukhsana Sarfraz, president of MWL London, talked about importance of continuing learning and improving our knowledge about Islam. She talked about the misconceptions surrounding Islam at the moment and how important it has become that we as representatives of Islam are able to answer any questions the future generations have about Jihad. She highlighted the need to study the Quran, Hadith and Sunnah extensively and pass that knowledge to others. She invited all sisters attending to join classes and attend Halqas organized by the Women League in different areas.

The program ended with beautiful Dua and Zikr followed by the food served to all the guests.
