On the 22nd October 2015 a Halqa e Durood sharif and Muharram gathering was held at sister Shanaz's house in Smethwick. The programme started off with recitation of the Holy Quran.

A talk was delivered to all attendees by the President of Sandwell Minhaj Women League sister Sadia Bibi. She gave a beautiful speech from Shaykh-ul-Islam Dr Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri's book 'Shahadat e Imam Hussain (AS)' in Urdu. Chapter 1 to chapter 4 was read. In these chapters the participants were informed of details regarding a description of the title 'Martyr' (shaheed) and how a martyr is still alive after leaving this world physically.

The participants finished the gathering with a prayer and Salaam on the Holy Prophet صلى الله عليه وسلم . Durood Sharif was recited 10,000 times.
