Allama Syed Farhat Hussain Shah visits MQI Nelson

Minhaj-ul-Quran International Nelson welcomed distinguished scholar, Allama Syed Farhat Hussain Shah, to Nelson in November 2014. Allama Syed Farhat Hussain Shah, currently the President of the Minhaj-ul-Quran Ulama Council, was on a visit to host a number of key gatherings and sittings with Minhaj-ul-Quran members and all the various forums associated with Minhaj-ul-Quran Nelson.

On Friday 28th November 2014, Allama Sahib delivered the Friday sermon at the Minhaj-ul-Quran Mosque. In the evening, a sitting was organised in there where Allama Sahib talked about the personality and works of Shaykh-ul-Islam Dr Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri and role models in the present day.

On Saturday 29th November 2014, a sitting for the youth was organised at the Mosque in which Allama Sahib discussed the role of Minhaj-ul-Quran in the lives of the youth and the importance of youth involvement within the organisation for promotion of peace and interfaith dialogue. In the evening, another gathering was organised in which Allama Sahib spoke about the aims and objectives of Minhaj-ul-Quran International and it's differentiation from other religious organisations present throughout the world.

On Sunday 30th November 2014, on the final day of the visit, Allama Sahib participated in another gathering with the youth in which he discussed the work and mission of Shaykh-ul-Islam Dr Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri. During the evening, an informal session was held with all members of Minhaj-ul-Quran where there was a Question & Answer session.

On behalf of Minhaj-ul-Quran International Nelson, we would like to thank Allama Syed Farhat Hussain Shah Sahib for visiting Nelson and spending their valuable time with us all. We hope to strengthen our link and relationship with the Minhaj-ul-Quran International organisation and pray for the health and well-being of Shaykh-ul-Islam Dr Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri.
