Razi Niazi, President of MQI (USA), arrived in Pakistan on July 3, 2012 and paid a detailed visit to the Central Secretariat. When Razi Niazi along with his family reached Allama Iqbal International Airport Lahore at 10 a.m., they were received by G.M. Malik (Naib Nazim e Aala), Raja Jamil Ajmal (Director of Foreign Affairs), Muhammad Amir Yousuf (Director Productions) and the members of DFA. Muhammad Zafar Iqbal, an active member of MQI (USA), was also present on the occasion who is currently in Pakistan.
Razi Niazi and his family were conducted to the shrine of Data sahib where Allama Muhammad Hussain Azad and members of the Aukaf department received them. They paid their respects at the shrine of the renowned Sufi and offered their prayers. The delegation was, later on, taken to new campus of Minhaj University in Township where Col. (r) Muhammad Ahmad, Registrar of the University, received them and conducted them to different faculties of the University. The Registrar introduced the University teaching staff and briefed the delegation about different projects and disciplines of the University.
They also visited the shrine of Sayyidna Tahir Allauddin Al-Qadri Al-Gillani (R.A) and paid their respects there. They made Dua on the occasion.
Minhaj College for Women was the next destination of the delegation. They met the female students who were enrolled Islamic Learning Course at the College. The wife of Razi Azami congratulated the students for their keen interest in Islam and advised them to particularly focus on their character building. She said that there was a need to spread awareness about women rights in society in the light of Islamic teachings. She hoped that the course would go a long way in sensitizing the women about their rights in society.
The delegation was taken to grand welfare project of MQI namely Aagosh where Col. (r) Muhammad Saeed received them. He briefed the members of delegation about the working of Aagosh, educational and residential facilities being provided to the orphan students.
The respected guests were conducted to central secretariat of MQI where the leaders and staff members of MQI gave them a very warm welcome. They also visited different directorates and departments of MQI. The guests were briefed about the working of these departments of MQI.
Razi Niazi called on Dr Hussain Mohi-ud-Din Qadri, President of Federal Council of MQI, after the Zahur prayers and dined with him. Giving their interview to Minhaj TV, Razi Niazi and Zafar Iqbal said that those of the Pakistanis who come from abroad should visit Aagosh and central secretariat of MQI. They said that they were thoroughly impressed by the welfare project of Aagosh where excellent facilities were being provided to the orphan children. They said that they were satisfied at the way these children were being taken care of. They said that the project was a flagship initiative of MQI, which speaks volumes about the concept of an Islamic welfare state espoused by Shaykh-ul-Islam Dr Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri.
Razi Niazi in his concluding meeting thanked the leaders and staff members of MQI for excellent reception and hospitality accorded to him and his family during his visit.
