Shaykh Hammad Mustafa al Madani al Qadri delivered the keynote lecture on The Migration to Madina: Pluralism, Inter-Communal Harmony, Social Justice and Prophetic Statesmanship.

Shaykh Hammad explained that the migration to al-Madinah was more than a strategic change of location. It marked the establishment of a society founded upon faith, justice, compassion, and human dignity.

Drawing upon the Holy Qur'an, the Constitution of Madina, and authentic Prophetic traditions, Shaykh Hammad highlighted how the Messenger of Allah ﷺ united the Muhājirīn and Anṣār through “al-Mu'ākhāt” (the Madinan Brotherhood). It created a welfare system based on mutual care and social responsibility, serving as the lasting foundation for one unified nation, an Ummah, where justice, mercy, and equal rights extended to Muslims and non-Muslims alike.

Shaykh Hammad also highlighted the Holy Prophet’s ﷺ exemplary statesmanship, humility in leadership, mercy towards children, compassion towards wrongdoers, all whilst upholding justice and his cordial relations with people of other faiths.
