Brescia, Italy: Chairman Supreme Council, Minhaj-ul-Quran International, Prof. Dr Hassan Mohiuddin Qadri, delivered a spiritually uplifting address at a special intellectual and educational gathering organised by Minhaj-ul-Quran International Brescia. The event was attended by MQI office bearers, workers, and affiliates from various cities across Italy.

In his address, Dr Hassan Qadri spoke on the love of the Ahl al-Bayt (AS), the establishment of the State of Madinah, the constitutional foundations of the Islamic state, and the Prophetic model of education and character-building. He explained that following the Hijrah, the Holy Prophet Muhammad (ﷺ) established brotherhood between the Muhajirun and the Ansar and concluded agreements with various communities, culminating in the Constitution of Madinah—the first written constitution in human history based on justice, mutual respect, and collective responsibility.

Referring to the Event of Mubahala, he highlighted the exalted status of the Ahl al-Bayt (AS), describing it as one of the greatest Qur'anic proofs of their purity and the obligation to love them. He also cited several Prophetic traditions illustrating the Holy Prophet's (ﷺ) profound love for Imam Hasan (AS) and Imam Husayn (AS), emphasising that parents should nurture future generations through faith, worship, and exemplary character within the home.

A special ceremony was also held to honour Naveed Aslam King, a young Pakistani in Italy whose courageous actions recently gained national media attention. He was recognised for saving children from an attacker in a public park by courageously restraining the suspect until police arrived. In appreciation of his bravery and humanitarian spirit, Dr Hassan Qadri presented him with a Special Honorary Shield on behalf of Minhaj-ul-Quran International. The gathering concluded with prayers for the unity of the Muslim Ummah and for peace and prosperity in Pakistan, Italy, and across the world.
